Caring For Destination

Our guesthouse, village house Carku, is situated in Theth, a beautiful area that perfectly shows how man has succeeded in striking a balance with nature despite harsh living conditions.

Village House Carku was the first one to open it's to visitors during the late nineties when the first community tourism projects were set off. Our guesthouse became a meeting place where other highlanders gain experience and vision. With our example and by showing our effort we are able to demonstrate to the community the immense potential they have to offer. A visit at Carku village house is a true workshop on sustainable tourism.

During your stay here Nona Age will recount interesting stories of her children, now grown men and women, to enable you to gain a better understanding of the role of our family in the local community.
